The Califonia Masonic Memorial Temple is a public venue that sits atop Nob Hill. As an icon of mid-century modernist architecture, the temple was designed by Albert Roller and dedicated on Sept. 29, 1958. The temple houses the Masonic Auditorium, Grand Lodge of California, Henry W. Coil Library, and Museum. After a major renovation that was completed in Fall 2014, the temple has been used for hosting concerts, private receptions, meetings, classroom-style events, and private events with entertainment on stage.
