The Grand Opera House, also known as Masonic Hall and Grand Theater, is a performing arts theater in Wilmington, Delaware. The four-story building was built in 1871 by the Delaware Grand Lodge of Masons to serve as a Masonic temple and auditorium. The Grand was later used to host a variety of live performances, and has featured many notable performers, including Ethel Barrymore, "Buffalo Bill" Cody, and John Philip Sousa. Today, the theater offers the best in music, comedy, Broadway, and variety shows.
