With a wealth of Maritime history, both past and present, it's fitting that Boston should host the Tall Ship fleet for Sail Boston 2017. From June 17 - 22, Boston will welcome more than 30 tall ships to its harbor. During the five-day event, cadets and crew members will provide free tours of their ships and educational programs focusing on U.S. and international maritime history. The first and largest event of the week is the Grand Parade of Sail, which takes place on Saturday, where dozens of tall ships that just arrived from Bermuda will parade through the harbor on the way to their assigned berths.

Boston is the official port for the Rendez-vous 2017 Regatta, a trans-Atlanta regatta that begins in the United Kingdom and race to Portugal and Bermuda before reaching Boston and then Quebec City in Canada.
