Charlestown is the oldest Boston neighborhood and while the population has changed over the centuries, it is a sought after residential neighbourhood due to its proximity to downtown Boston. The neighbourhood is located on a peninsula between the Charles River and Mystic River.

The Freedom Trail ends in Charlestown at the Bunker Hill Monument. Take a stroll over to Warren Tavern, which has been around since 1780 and was said to have been a favorite watering hole of Paul Revere.
