Coming soon in early 2018, the Kirkland Museum will re-open at a brand new location, near the Denver Art Museum and Clyfford Still Museum, in Denver's Golden Triangle Creative District. The new 38,500-square-foot-museum is designed by Seattle-based Olson Kundig, and will feature 65% more display space.

The museum will feature three collections: decorative art from about 1875 to 1990, with examples of every major design period from Arts & Crafts to Postmodern, a retrospective of Vance Kirkland (1904-1981), and the works of other Colorado and regional artists.
