Peabody's began as a local orchard and fruit market that supplied fresh apples, peaches, and pears to the community. In 1975, the owner's son, Jim Peabody, converted the family's barn into an upscale restaurant where guests can experience fine dining. The family has been managing the restaurant for two generations, and continues to provide the freshest modern American fare in the Birmingham area.
