Prospect Park is a public park located near Brooklyn's Park Slope, Prospect Heights, Crown Heights, and Flatbush neighborhoods. The park has a 90-acre meadow, picnic house, zoo, boathouse, and nature conservancy managed by the Wildlife Conservation Society. Prospect Park also features Brooklyn's only lake and is home to Litchfield Villa, the pre-existing home of Edwin Clark Litchfield, an early developer of the neighborhood and former owner of a southern section of the Park.
