Point State Park is located at Pittsburgh's "Golden Triangle," where the Allegheny, Ohio, and Monongahela Rivers converge. The park was created to commemorate Pittsburgh's cultural and industrial history. Visitors can walk along the Three Rivers Heritage Trail and enjoy dramatic views of the riverfront, hillsides, and bridges. Numerous benches are available throughout the park, in addition to a reflection pool, great lawn, and a 100-foot fountain at the tip of the park. The park is also home to the Fort Pitt Block House and the Fort Pitt Museum, and offers numerous hiking, boating, and biking trails. Various special events are held each year at the park for the public to enjoy.
