Fiesta San Antonio began as a one-parade event in 1891 to honor the memory of the heroes of the Alamo and Battle of San Jacinto. Today, the celebration has grown into one of the nation's premier festivals with multiple events and activities planned throughout the City of San Antonio. Festival events include:
