The Florida Holocaust Museum is one of the largest Holocaust museums in the country. It was founded by Walter and Edith Lobenberg, both of whom were German Jews who escaped Nazi Germany by immigrating to the U.S. The museum building has three floors, with a permanent exhibit as well as archives on the first floor, and temporary galleries on the second and third floors.
